Whether you’re staying local or traveling this Thanksgiving holiday, UT RecSports has you covered on ways to sprinkle some movement into this time!

Join us on Campus

If you’re a UT student or RecSports member, join us on campus at your favorite RecSports facility for your workout or drop-in recreation. Campus will be quiet, which may also mean your favorite machine or court is more likely to be available. All facilities will be closed on Thanksgiving Day, but select facilities will remain open the rest of the Thanksgiving Break with reduced hours. View facility hours.

Kick, Sweat, Punch

We’re featuring one of our hundreds of TeXercise on Demand workouts at no cost to you this week. Enjoy this 30-minute Cardio Kick class that will get you kicking, sweating, and punching and elevating your heart rate. All you need is a water bottle and space to move.

Take a Walk

Engage in a sense and savor walk. Take a 15 or 30-minute walk and notice as much as you can during it. Utilize all five senses and how it feels to be directly interacting with the environment around you.

Yoga for Gratitude

Join us online for a free TeXercise on Demand Yoga for Gratitude practice. This light-hearted and fun sequence will fill your heart with gratitude and provide your muscles with some needed attention. Access this workout online from wherever you are. All you need is a yoga mat and a water bottle.

Try an At-Home Workout

Try one of our aerobic, strength, or combined At-Home Workouts designed by RecSports personal trainers. All workouts are meant to be done with minimal to no equipment from wherever you are.

From all of us at RecSports, have a safe and relaxing Thanksgiving holiday!
